Hiroki joined Shizen in 2014 and was the head of the IPP and the Asset Management business department for the Japan market until he founded the international business team in July 2018. He led fundraising with Kenedix (a leading real estate asset management company) in 2016, and the alliance agreement on capital and business partnership with Tokyo Gas in 2017.
He has six years of experience as a trader of agricultural commodities in Marubeni Corporation, and six years of new business development and marketing director in the entertainment and media sector before joining Shizen. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Environment and Information Studies from Keio University in 2002.
Since joining Shizen in 2019, Oliver has been deeply involved with forming and managing our international partnerships with companies such as Northland Power, Constant Energy and juwi.
Prior to joining Shizen, Oliver worked at PwC for 7 years in Japan and the UK, where his last role was Director of the Deals Modelling team in Tokyo. During his time at PwC, Oliver took a leading role in renewable energy, conventional power and infrastructure asset transactions in Japan and internationally.
Oliver is a CFA charterholder, Chartered Financial Modeller and graduated from University College London with First Class Honours in Economics.
In his first role at Shizen, Uli built up the technical asset management and owners engineering capabilities for large PV power plants in Japan. Later he joined the international team to cover all technical matters for PV, wind and storage projects outside of Japan.
He began his professional career as a Project Engineer for X-Ray systems, building up a technical team for a new production facility in China. Later he joined Schaeffler Technologies as a Business Development Manager of Transmission components for the Asian Market.
He received his Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany in 2008 and his Ph.D. in Wind Engineering from Kyushu University, Japan in 2017.
